Bethany Williams

Bethany Williams joins Schreiber Philanthropy as the Lake County Portfolio Manager. She’s spent the last decade and a half working to expand opportunity in Lake County through workforce and economic development. In her most recent role as Strategy & Intelligence Director at Lake County Partners, she led the development of the county’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, which focused on the assets and systems in the community that lay the foundation for economic mobility and growth.

Prior to that, she worked for the Lake County Workforce Development Board developing policy to maximize the impact of investments in job training. She serves on the College of Lake County Southlake Campus Advisory Committee and the Lake County Housing and Community Development Commission.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of San Diego, served as an Executive Fellow in Public Policy at California State University, Sacramento, and earned Master’s Degrees in Business Administration from both the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and the Columbia Business School at Columbia University in the City of New York.

Bethany lives in Lake County with her husband, three children and their dog.
