2024 Grantee Spotlight

As parents of eight children, and grandparents to 18 grandchildren, John and Kathy Schreiber have a deep connection to Lurie Children’s. They have been funding Lurie Children’s for more than a decade, and - over the years - have developed a mission-aligned partnership, focused on enhancing access to Lurie Children’s outstanding care.

2024 Grantee Spotlight

In 2014, John and Kathy were introduced to the amazing leaders, physicians, nurses, and staff at Lawndale Christian Health Center in North Lawndale. Their goal is to provide exceptional care for their community, in spite of the socioeconomic and racial disparities that have plagued North Lawndale and its neighboring communities.

Josselyn provides inclusive mental health care for anyone in need, especially people who’ve historically had difficulty accessing it. Their work is deeply aligned with Schreiber Philanthropy’s values, and the organization has been in our portfolio since 2017.
